Henry was a Boy Scout for 7 years, at St. Mathew’s Church in Central Falls, RI, achieving the Life Scout Rank, and continued on with his Scout Troop as its adult leader for two more years.  He was also a student Clown, Magician and Santa Claus at various children’s parties and enjoyed making children laugh.  He was also very interested in and involved with a variety of craft designs and construction.

Graduating high school from Sacred Heart Academy in Central Falls, RI in 1968, Henri attended Fitchburg State Teacher’s College in Fitchburg, MA for a short period then transferred to the Computer Processing Institute of Rhode Island from which he graduated as a Computer Programmer.

Very community conscious Henri ran for the office of Councilman for the 5th district of Central Falls, RI, and was a member of the Central Falls Auxiliary Police, Knights of Columbus, Swinging Squares Square Dance Club and Sacred Heart Alumni Association.
